So you have your wedding date, and now you are starting to get knee deep into wedding planing mode. Engagement sessions or Pre-wedding sessions, might seem like another item on your To do list, but this is a great opportunity to have fun and make memories that you will look back in years to come. Engagement photography sessions are a great time to relax and have fun, you can make it a date night for you and your partner to re-connect and use the images during the reception or as part of your wedding invitations.
3 Tips to have a fun engagement photography session
Include a memorable location: Pre wedding photography can be daunting, the best way to have an incredible experience is to make it your own, therefore consider including a location that means a lot to you, maybe the place you met, or a place that you visited on an important date, or a place where you feel relaxed and connected.
Pets are always welcome!! This is the time for your pet to shine, so if you are a dog lover (or any other animal) make sure that you include them in your session! They will help you to relax and will keep your mind of out my lens!
Consider a quirky activity? Maybe an Arcade, Ice cream or doughnut shop? The possibilities are endless and urban spaces are one of my favourite settings to shoot.

A slideshow on your wedding day. Keep the guests entertained while you have a rest just before you make your entrance.
Make a book with your images and leave some blank pages so your guests can sign this book and fill it with great wedding wishes.
